Video Production
My passion for visual storytelling began long before my professional career. Throughout high school, video editing was one of my favorite hobbies, as I stitched together NFL footage into interesting highlight reels. I also digitized my family’s exhaustive library of 8mm tapes and crafted polished vacation videos suitable for group viewing. This hobby turned into academic pursuit, as I studied cinema, video production, photography, and 3D animation in college, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in 2011.
During my time at Custom Service Hardware, I spearheaded the video production department, serving as director and overseeing all technical aspects of production. I crafted engaging scripts for talent, designed video lighting setups, and handled primary camera operation while managing audio recording and post-production editing. As our production scale expanded, I trained team members to operate additional audio/video equipment effectively. Under my leadership, we produced and distributed over 60 videos across various social media platforms, enhancing CSH’s digital marketing presence and product education initiatives.

Product Photography
My role at Custom Service Hardware refined my visual media expertise through product photography. I captured detailed product images and lifestyle shots while developing systematic approaches to color correction and asset management.
Always finding ways to improve processes, I found a creative solution to photographing 40 different rolling door straps for the website. I used bolt cutters to cut off screw heads, placing them directly on each strap, eliminating hours of installation work.
